The Path to Certification

Well, I know many friends of mine on sl and in rl would say I am certifiable....but I don't think they meant  it in the same way. LOL.  Yesterday, I took my final at Outrageous Glamour Academy, the basic course. If I passed, I become a certified model in SL.  It is something I have worked extremely hard for and I am looking forward to hopefully passing.  Our final exam was to style three different looks, a Winter Themed look, a Formal Look and a Freestyle Look (whatever style we most associated ourselves with).  Below are the stylings I came up with for my Formal and my Freestyle (I picked a Glam look).  I will find out today if I passed or not (and I will be at RL work for 12 hours).  I really enjoyed my classes at OGlam and my instructor, Tania Tebaldi was amazing.

For my formal, I decided to mix and match different designers to create this look.

Formal:
Hair - Kallias Hair in Caviar - Bliss Couture
Eyeshadow - Metal Mania in Old Gold - Glamorize
Hair Jewel - Star Bindi - Desire Set in Gold - Finesmith
Jewelry - Enchanted Red Ruby Set - Lazuri
Gown - Sculpted Bodice - taken from Meryl in Gold - PurpleMoon Creations
Bodice - taken from Meryl in Red - PurpleMoon Creations
Gloves - taken from Pheasant Gown in Ruby - PurpleMoon Creations
Skirt - taken from Russian Explosion - Champagne Sparkling Couture

My freestyle look was the look that I had the most trouble with ironically.  I just could not figure out what I wanted to do.  I tried so many different things and nothing was working or coming together.  Then it happened.  I fell in love with this look.  How could I not....It's Gizza, PurpleMoon and NV Corsetry.

Freestyle
Hair - Kylie Hair in Caviar - Bliss Couture
Eyeshadow - Allure Gold Foil - Fishy Strawberry
Eyeshadow - Metal Mania in Gold - Glamorize
Lipstick - Eve (Lipstick only) - LpD
Jewelry - Desire Full Set in Gold - Finesmith
Outfit - Lace Undershirt - From Dolly Dress - Gizza
Corset - Black Verne Mesh Corset - NV Corsetry
Pants - Alison Pants in Gold - PurpleMoon Creations
Shoes - Envy Baroque Heels in Black - Dikatator

Regardless of whether I pass or not, I have to thank the following for their unending love, support and friendship while I took this journey.  Trinity Graves, Poulet Koenkamp, Caoimhe Lionheart, Llyssa Serupta, Sessie16, Kathrin Dassin, Selina Graycloud, Tania Tebaldi, Linda Reddevil, Heath Blessed, Krypto Dragoone and a huge thank you and a giant huge to my sissy and kick ass fashion blogger Lycilla.

  1. they look wonderful! And Bella, you honestly have done one of the hardest tasks, and did it perfectly! It is next to impossible to blend together pieces of two different red outfits. There are so many shades of red,it's hard to find two designers whose shades are seamlessly matchable. Congrats! I am proud of all the hard work I know you did. =)
